Purple teeth, a stretched smile, forcing fingers in your mouth. I saw squares and dancing while listening to a song, and drew it out here. I should set up that Hershlings page some time soon.
After I had finished the commission I was asked to do, I went ahead and checked through my commission info. After adjusting my prices, I felt it was worth going back and shading this piece, as I had been very graciously tipped, which would cover the cost of shading. So here it is! Yaaayyy!!!
Today I decided to make myself a werm concept! I've made one or two before, but this may be the first time I make one without a line basis. I was also starting horse-based my User-Made Adoptables back up, and I felt like a horse-y Werm was definitely a must for my entourage. Wermz!!
I was however so very excited to get back to drawing, and I had some ideas related to the fest, too! When I finally got the chance to draw, I went straight to it, and it ended up... looking so bad it made me feel upset. An even bigger bummer! I don't think I'll post this anywhere meaningful, but it's something I worked to finish, so... here it is! This week's top disappointment....
Early in the morning, I completed my funny ChemWorlde redraw. I really liked how this one came out, even if it felt tedious to color (rainbow petals...) and the background is a mite bit plain. Still, it's a great showcase of how well this brush works! The original to the right for your viewing pleasure ~
While I was in the middle of that, I drew a moody piece for myself. Lots of thinking... what will I regret at the end of the line? What can I feel regret for? Walking past two-by-two... how do you salvage something like that?
During the day, I went to work on an owed piece of artwork- a werm for Ewie! I had a lot of fun drawing a werm again, and enjoyed figuring out how to make this piece look its best. Afterwards I began on my next owed piece of work- a commission! This is actually my first new commission of the year, and it felt nice to work on something big like this. Thanks so much for commissioning (and for the fun stream to boot)! I even added a doodle of their character as an inkling. Hehehe!
Oh yeah and there's gooba. say hi gooba.
Afterwards I did a redraw of an MSPaint drawing I had done two years ago. It was cute and simple, so I chose it as my next foray into a bigger canvas. Here, I'm including the original drawing to the right of the redraw so you can see the difference! Boy, could I use a donut right now.
I then went on to draw my first ever Uma Musume fan character, Pink Wednesday! I loved how much her spots looked like lipstick marks, and ran right ahead with it. I used a few clothing inspirations I adored (black long sleeves and boots, boob window, a unique hair style!) and wa-la. A crazy-lookin' mare right before ya! I promise the next one will look a bit more normal... maybe....
As the night bled into the next morning, I went ahead and finished another sketch off of my Clipboard Chan sketch page. Sorry for the view... I just love the shape of her. She's currently watching Antique Roadshow, much to the displeasure of my fellow artist. HAHAHA
