The Modern Era (1900s - Present Day), also named The Age of Ambitions, is a time where inventions and technology began to flourish. The quality of life was greatly improved, and war and strife was even less prominent than the previous two eras. Much like our modern day, don't you think so?!
BOMB
NOTES
- Based on the general idea of a bomb, a container filled with a destructive substance designed to explode. She specifically appears to be inspired by a mortar bomb with a string fuse, the latter aspect being popularized by cartoons.
- Has the ability to explode utilizing the fuse on her head, but depending on the severity of the explosion, may cause irreversible damage to herself. Once used, her fuse grows back over time.
- Wrestles under the name "La Bomba"

- A Chan embued with the essence of chemical gases, or more specifically, chemicals used as weapons to inflict death or harm on others.
- It is unknown if her mask is meant to keep gases in, out, or both.

- Does not sweat, and her muscles never become sore, which makes working out a breeze for her.
DRY ICE
NOTES
- Born from dry ice, the solid form of carbon dioxide. Potentially, a Chan made in a lab.
- Lives in the Antarctic with a team of researchers.
FIREWORK
NOTES
- A Chan embodying the essence of a firework. She appears to resemble an M-100, a firecracker that is rolled into a tube and lit with a fuse.
- Has the ability to explode utilizing the fuse on her head, but depending on the severity of the explosion, may cause irreversible damage to herself. Once used, her fuse grows back over time. Her explosion is weaker but flashier than Bomb's.
- Smokes habitually.

- Based off of the general idea of a gun, a weapon.
- This Chan is specifically known to be man-made, and potentially even manufactured en-masse. Can be made in many different makes and models.
- While they are still individuals, their logic and reasoning follows the protocol of their manufacturer to prevent them from going rogue, including safety measures built into their AI.
MAGNET
NOTES
- Based on the concept of a magnet, a material with a magnetic field. Her appearance is partially inspired by horseshoe magnets with colored poles.
- The body is not robotic- it is more akin to a humans, albeit with flesh made of metal.
- Her limbs are replaceable, as they float from her using magnetism (and therefore are unattached).
MALWARE
NOTES
- Made by a very bored programmer who was trying to create the ultimate computer virus, she was brought to life through a power surge caused by smooth channel lightning.
- Manifests every type of malware possible, and can transform her appearance to anything she wants, being composed of pixels.
- Can only travel if the device she is on is plugged into the internet.
MOLD
NOTES
- A Chan born from mold, everything she touches will either become covered in mold or moldy itself.
- Able to make her own clothes out of mold, and is very fashionable.
NOOSE
NOTES
- Based on a noose, a specific knot done on a rope for hangings. Lives a slightly uncomfortable existence due to the implications.
- A highschool student with good grades, A's across the board!
- Her face may or may not be an apparition.
- Could possibly unfurl herself if she tried hard enough. Her natural state keeps the ropes tight to form.
- Wants to become a mortician, like her mother.
- Streams video games in her free time, as this allows herself to socialize while doing something she likes.

- Based off of acidic taste. Her hair possibly references sour candies, such as that as gummy worms and rainbow belts.
- Does not get along with her sister, Spice, despite the two being similar on some levels. On the other hand, she adores her youngest sister, Sweet.
- An over-achiever. Will try to progress her social status however she can, even through gossip and manipulation. Isn't out and open about it, but will be if she doesn't like you (or you're her sister, Spice).
- Hair is edible, and tastes like very tough sour gummies.

NOTES
- Based off of strong, pungent flavor. The large cowlick on her head resembles the stem of a pepper, being green with red skin.
- Does not get along with her sister, Sour, despite the two being similar on some levels. On the other hand, she adores her younger sister, Sweet.
- Rebellious and challenges the status quo, expressing this aspect of her most as a singer.
- Was born with a defect, being the inability to release excess essence (overchanneling). Had prosthetics (vents that released steam) installed on her at a young age to circumvent this. Chans born with a disability such as this is extremely rare, so her case is unique.
- The steam she releases from her body is similar in irritability as to pepper spray. Not only that, her sweat contains capsaicin- probably not someone you want with you on a summer roadtrip.
- Enjoys drinking hard liquor.

- As she smells a bit too offensively for public school, she is homeschooled.
- Much like trash spilled across the pavement, she can be a bit scatterbrained and disorganized. Despite (or because of) this, she's quite creative.
