Welcome to Chans Island! (Bonus)
I'm calling this a bonus page, but truthfully, the last one simply got too long after having played beyong my initial stopping point. Way too excited to play something new! There's also so much fun stuff that happens... a wild imagination will get a lot out of this.
Something New Around Every Corner (Late Night)
So, what happens late at night on Chans Island? It seems that in this iteration of Tomodachi Life, Miis don't often go to bed like in the 3DS title. In fact, Miis will go to bed, but you can find them later wandering the island again. What's the point of sleeping at all but to bar access from a Mii for like, an hour at most? I do wish they did go to bed like the past game... it was nice stopping point for a younger me so I didn't linger on the game longer than intended. Like here!
Look how many are out and about. Ever heard of a curfew?

I guess it must feel nice to work out in the cold night air, at least.
Some more Mii-watching footage. It really is like watching a fish tank.
I've gotten a few pets at this point, but hadn't given any Chans the opportunity to own one. That's because I preferred to at least give them things that were close to or related to their canon. At this point, Guillotine-Chan had been minding her business, and I decided, why the hell not. A bird didn't seem like THAT crazy of a choice. What I didn't expect was this bird would be freaking the heck out of everybody on the island over time. What's with that?!

Such a nice, quiet pet... *demonic screech*. Okay, it wasn't that bad, but...
Guillo ended up telling Rabies first about her freak monster cockatoo.
After their meetup, both of them went and ended up having dreams- both of an alarming nature.
If only I'd recorded Rabie's dream earlier. She looks quite nifty in that costume! Rabies-Chan ended up wanting to do something I didn't expect so soon- she wanted to move in with Sour-Chan. I guess being the first two on the island, they ended up developing their relationship the most compared to everyone else. So I let them move in together for the heck of it, forming the Starbies condo.
Nice! Check out those Rabie wiggles.

This was my first time seeing the inside of a condo.
They immediately went in for some celebratory fruit salad.
This actually led to me seeing the happiness-boost award ceremony for the first time, and I received my first award! Another thing milestone accomplished rather quickly... not my intention of course, but I do wonder for how long they will continue to come.
I'm surprised Rabies-Chan wasn't on either of the maraca positions here.

Clipboard-Chan was spotted being chased by Swine Flu-Chan by the fountain.
Perhaps knowing Swine Flu's character has created a sick sense of excitement.
Condo life seems to be going well for these two...
.jpg)
... Although, Rabies-Chan seems unfamiliar with such modern amenities.
Such as a door. Kidding! Maybe.
I ended up unlocking the restaurant along the way here. Quite cute, it's apparently a reference to some Japanese comedy bit (the interactions specifically, probably). The bit being someone tries to strike up a conversation, and the other party never has anything positive or helpful to say. Which I learn is quite true for a few interactions down the line!
.jpg)
Sour totally said that before going straight to doing it.
Don't mind Rabie- I'm sure she's enjoying herself.
Rabies-Chan and Swine Flu-Chan have been getting along very well despite aforementioned differences in their canon's philosophies. The exclusion of humans really helped them bond with little trouble, and now, it looks like they'll be living together! 3 Chans in the Starbies condo!
.jpg)
Of course they'd wanna be doing that all day. Exercise is exercise.
This time they're having some celebratory ramen.
Swine Flu-Chan's definitely not eating pork (she's vegan).

Clipboard-Chan's obsession with this line begins with her sister.
Later, Note-Chan is seen hanging out with Guillotine-Chan, a rather unlikely pair.
I haven't looked into it much, but apparently this "My love is like a boiled egg" line is not unique, and is the only line they will talk about in regards to the books they own. You'd expect the 'boiled egg' portion to be randomized, or for their to be more template sentences to mix with, but no. They really want you to see this line over and over again. Wonder why?
Guillotine-Chan and Note-Chan, despite being two Chans who have never interacted in the canon (that I know of), make for some interesting friends. I can at least imagine them agreeing on the topic at hand, realistic to what I understand how their characters are like. They get into a bit of a mess later.
Checking in on the Starbies condo, it's cute to see the variety of interactions that can happen. It's even funnier to imagine what these specific Chans would do together- consider two are from a medieval-esque era, while one lives during modern times....
.jpg)
I wonder what the two would watch? Some sources say Reality TV.
In the end, they watched what Rabies-Chan wanted- The Pink Channel.
Later, Clipboard-Chan's growing obsession with this specific one-liner grows. It's fine, however, as it looks like the other Chans seem to be interested. After Clipboard's book club meeting, I saw Note-Chan and Guillotine-Chan had a disagreement, and weren't on the best terms. Guillo wanted someone to hang out with though, so I brought her over to Note in the hopes they would make up. After splurging over shogi king pieces (with funny poses to go along), they were fine.
.jpg)
Don't they all look cute together like this?
After Note and Guillo made up, they went back to video game chat.
Even later into the night, I saw a group of Chans wanted to play a game. This was the first time I saw this, previously only playing one-on-one with them.

This one's rather easy, requiring you to pay attention for a moment.
Afterwards, everyone dispersed, going their merry ways. I followed Note-Chan as she walked towards the little park area I made. Setting herself against a palm tree, she opened her laptop and began making a ridiculous face. I'm actually not sure what this expression is- bliss? -and as of writing, am surprised that there isn't a guide anywhere regarding Mii facial expressions. Maybe that's something I could put somewhere. Anyways, I turned around to see what it was she was looking at on her laptop, and, well....
.jpg)
I'm sure she's a lot more tech-literate than this, right?!
When she finally left her spot, probably because her laptop's too on the fritz to utilize, Note-Chan met up with her sister Clipboard-Chan down the path. The two walked by the beachside road to their homes, probably talking about whatever it is these two would talk about. A rather idyllic scene this late into the night.

Check out the guard rail. I'm fortifying this entire island!
Checking in on Rabies-Chan, she wanted a new item for herself. I didn't really have anything I felt was appropriate to her character, and considered a bit before settling on an Action movie. When I thought 'Action movie', I wasn't thinking of something with explosions and gunfights as much as I was thinking of kung-fu. I feel like Rabies-Chan would be the type to enjoy those types of HK movies. Well, she loved it, so I'll keep pretending it's that.
.jpg)
Seeing the back of her like this is just too cute.
That's about most everything that happened on the first day of Chans Island. In fact, a few more small things happened here and there, but I've been writing this up for a few days now, and I'm ready to reveal what's happened after today. Who will join us next on Chans Island? What will everyone's relationships look like as time progresses? How will the island develop?! Stay tuned!
Well-wishes from Rabies-Chan.
