The Pale Era

This was the earliest era in recorded history in which civilization began to reform. The quality of life at this part of post-scourge history was immensely low, especially as many violent wars were fought in efforts to claim much of the emptied land. Countries came and went, not unlike the fabled medieval history of ages past. At the very end of this wicked time came the Reign of Plagues, where its resolution ended mankind's strife and brought forth a brighter chapter of history.
