The Pale Era
500 - 1600s A. S.
The Pale Era is the earliest recorded time in post-Scourge history in which civilization began to reform. The quality of living was immensely low, between violent wars and the onslaught of disease over the populace. As factions fought in an effort to claim much of the emptied land, many countries appeared and disappeared, not unlike the supposed medieval times of ages past. At the very end of this wicked era came the Reign of Plagues, where its resolution came with it a brighter future.
